Winner of the Supervisor of the Year Award 2023

Last night, the Supervisor of the Year Award 2023 was also presented, on behalf of the PhD council, by Chairman Wouter Lammers to Associate Professor Brenda Vermeeren from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Brenda offers stimulating, positive, and realistic feedback, making her the ideal supervisor according to the PhD students. She was not nominated by just one PhD student, but several students nominated her! Congratulations to Brenda for winning the prize!

Winner of the G.A. van Poeljeprijs 2023

Last night, the G.A. van Poeijeprijs was awarded by Sanneke Kuipers on behalf of the Vereniging voor Bestuurskunde. This year, the three nominees for this prize were Chesney Callens, Laura Cleton, and Erik-Jan van Dorp.
