We would like to bring your attention and invite you to register for the upcoming PADST Summer School 2025 that the KU Leuven is organising and hosting this year from 16 June to 18 June 2025 in Leuven. The summer school is organised by KU Leuven Public Governance Institute. The coordinator of the summer school is Prof. Joep Crompvoets.
The PADST Summer School 2025 is organised as part of the Public Administration Capabilities for Digital and Sustainable Transition (PADST) project. The PADST project is a joint initiative of KU Leuven (Public Governance Institute), TalTech (Ragnar Nurkse Department of Innovation and Governance), Utrecht University (Public Management Group), and University College London (Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose).
This summer school aims to bring together early-career researchers (esp. doctoral students) who study public administration, governance and its relationships with digital transformation, green transitions or sustainability governance. The key target group is the early-career researchers from the PADST project’s member universities. There are also several places available for applicants outside the PADST project member universities. More information about the Summer School is available here.
This year’s theme focuses especially on:
- Assessing how public administrations have tackled the challenges of digital and sustainable transitions.
- Exploring adaptive strategies to meet future policy demands in an ever-changing environment.
The Summer School will also include keynote speeches and panel discussions with practitioners (European Commission, FPS BOSA, Digitaal Vlaanderen, City of Leuven) and academics (KULeuven, but also University of Oxford, TalTech, University Cluj Napola).
If you wish to apply to the Summer School, please make sure to apply via this link before May 25 2025.
