The Erasmus School of Health, Policy, and Management is looking for an enthusiastic colleague for the position of Assistant Professor. 

Function description
Healthcare Governance section has built up a strong reputation for studying and contributing to policy developments. The department is also highly regarded internationally.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague for the position of Assistant Professor. For this position we are looking for someone who is interested in political issues related to governance in and of health care and the social domain in a broad sense and the consequences thereof for health care institutions, professionals, and patients. In this position you make an important contribution to (ongoing) projects of the section, in which we mainly expect you to tackle public administration and political science issues. In addition, a contribution to the education of the section is expected (approx. 35% of the appointment).


The intended start date of this position is January 1, 2023 (possibly in consultation) and is located in Rotterdam, at Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management.

The salary depends on your knowledge and experience and for a full-time appointment is between € 4,814 and € 6,181 gross per month (scale 12), in accordance with the CAO-NU.
In addition, we offer you 8% holiday pay, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% and a very generous leave scheme.
