Are you a social science master student or PhD-candidate? Or do you know someone? Are you/they motivated to support young researchers to publish their work? Then apply for a position as a board member of Public Note!
Public Note is a semi-scientific journal for and by young researchers in the social sciences. Excellent bachelor’s, master’s and PhD-students can publish their work in this journal. Their goal is to ensure that interesting and valuable papers are shared with a wider public in both academia and practice. Public Note can be a student’s first step in the world of academic publishing.
The current editorial board consists of five master students and three PhD-students. We are looking for social science master’s- or PhD-students to join our board. As a board member, you are responsible for recruiting new authors, guiding authors in the process towards publication, reviewing articles and working on the content and design of Public Note. Next to these general tasks, each board member has their own specific position, such as editor in chief, chair, secretary, social media manager, etc. There is also room for more creative ideas and new initiatives!
