Course description
Do you want to share your scientific research with people who are nog aware of the content? Visualizing the content is a powerful tool to tell your story in a way that people understand and remember it better.

In this training you will be taught how to draw simple but also powerful pictures of your research. The instructor will give you tips about how to use color, how to frame and connect and the composition. You will be shown how to use it in a presentation. The instructor will give you some examples. And of course you will make a visualization of your own research. Finally, you present your drawing briefly. And you will draw all day!

The instructor
Ellen van Heijst is owner of visualpower050 for 5 years. Before then, I worked in healthcare as a lung function technician, manager and I collaborated many times in research. Communication is always an area of interest for me, I’m always looking for the connection, the aim and purpose. I experienced that visual communication is a really powerful tool to find those things more easily. I started to do some training, practiced a lot and took the step to start my company. I quit my job and have fully committed myself to be a visual communication expert, in teaching and drawing. It was the best decision ever!
