NIG annual work conference 2020
Our 2020 conference has come to an end. Over 100 people attended this year’s conference. We want to thank you for taking this virtual conference ride with us.
Looking back
For those of you who missed our conference, below we highlight some of the key moments:
– Together with the Vereniging voor Bestuurskunde we started off with a pre-conference on Innovation and societal challenges
– Our Scientific Director Thomas Schillemans welcomed everyone virtually:
– The winners of the 2020 best supervisor of the year award were announced by the head of our PhD Council: Erik-Jan van Dorp. The winning duo is Prof. Dr. Caelesta Braun and Dr. Bert Fraussen from Leiden University. You can watch the virtual award ceremony here:
– 8 panels hosted over 40 paper presentations of academics from various institutions and countries. Some of them can be seen on our Twitter-page
– Twente University, and Prof. Dr. Bas Denters and Seeta Autar in particular, were thanked for their impressive seven years of leadership and service to our community as former directorate. Read more about that here
